* This is the stinging nettle plant. We use the leaves from this prickly plant in our Nettle Tonic. But the leaves can also be steamed and used in any recipe where you would use spinach or basil. If you find fresh nettles be sure to have a pair of gardening gloves handy. The leaves will sting you. The stingers wilt and lose their strength once heated so cooking the fresh leaves before ingesting them is a must!
